Abstract: The group of government ministers at the Xuanzong years in Ming Dynasty was a stable top political force. In term of government membership, nearly half of them were those remained government ministers while the rest were those just promoted, and such composition of government membership was relatively practical. In term of political ideas, the government ministers held basically the same political idea of status quo as the Ming Emperor Xuanzong and they united to run the state together. In term of their practical capability of rule, the government ministers were a galaxy of talents who guaranteed the smooth running of ministries’ power, and maintained a harmonious situation of mutual cooperation and balance. In term of those ministers just promoted, even though the court officials recommended most of them, the friendship they enjoyed was not just based on power and influence. Therefore, it revealed that the group of government ministers at the Xuanzong time in Ming Dynasty was a stable top political force. What they did shaped a relatively harmonious political environment at that time, which doubtlessly was one of the factors that led to the prosperity during"the rule of Renzong and Xuanzong"in Ming Dynasty.
