Abstract: Salvia miltiorrhiza,a traditional Chinese medicine,has obvious therapeutic effects on a variety of diseases.Modern medical researches have found that Salvia miltiorrhiza has various of effective active components,such as tanshinone,cryptotanshinone,rosmarinic acid,danshensu,salvianolic acid.It was reported that Salvia miltiorrhiza has a lot of new pharmacological effects besides the function of stimulating blood circulation for remove blood stasis,such as effect on the treatment of cardiovascular disease,liver disease,vasculitis and neurasthenia and other diseases.In this paper,we summarized the research progress on the relationship between the effective components of Salvia miltiorrhiza and its pharmacological activities,in order to offer certain reference to the research of Salvia miltiorrhiza.
