A GWR-Based Study on Jincheng City Hollow Village Driving Force

Abstract: This paper relies on Jincheng Hollow Village survey data, selects 10 factors from the geographic, economic,demographic, traffic, resources and geological conditions, uses the GWR and OLS model to analyze the driving force of the process of the formation of hollow village. Via Arc GIS, factor spatial drive mode is visuable. The results showed that(1) compared with the traditional OLS method, GWR model can reveal more profound spatial differential of driving force;(2) distance from the county and the population density were important driving force for the formation of hollow village. Population density, per capita net income of farmers, road density, rural road density negatively correlated with hollow rate,while, distance from the county, the proportion of non-agricultural population, account annual growth rate,topography, land all the production values, the ratio of poly farming were positively correlated.(3) factors were various among administrative,which showed a clear spatial differential;(4)measures of hollow village governance should be made on the basis of the dominant factor.
