Abstract: Objective To provide the pharmacognostic studies of wild and cultivated Salvia przewalskii of Qinghai province. Methods The pharmacognostic studies of Salvia przewalskii in Qinghai province were carried out through mor-phological,microscopic characteristics and TLC. Results The characteristics of wild and cultivated Salvia przewalskii were observed by microscope and TLC. Conclusion This study offered the base for its further research and utilization and quali-ty control of Salvia przewalskii.
