Abstract: According to the geological analysis of Ba Sai Qi paleo channel type uranium deposit,it was suggest that paleo channel is favorable space, structural inversion was the main dynamic factor and oxidation be the requite condition for uranium metallization. In combination with research of uranium for-mation age,the mineralization mechanism of Bayanwula type,Saihangaobi type,Qiharigetu type was studied and three metallogenic modesl was set up with 4 categories and 1 1 subcategories in the following indicators:source of uranium (internal and external),paleo channel (size, distribution, micro sedimen-tary faces, hydrodynamic force, lithology),structure (basement structure, deposition break, inversion structure),epigenetic alteration (phreatic oxidation, unilateral interlayer oxidation, both sides of the in-terlayer oxidation, hydrocarbon diffusion). With these models,4 level I,4 level II and 3 level III pros-pecting areas was prognosticated for further exploration in the basin.
