In its continuing effort to strictly observe Copyright Law and to protect the intellectual property right of the right holders, and to ensure that our clients are in compliance with the law, CAOD obtains permission to use the document by clearing every document requested by clients and pays applicable copyright fees (royalties) either to right holders directly or to the collective management organizations.
The copyright fees (royalties) may vary depending on different publishers/right holders who charge document royalties. CAOD, as an agent on behalf of our customers in this case, does not charge documents clearance and makes no profit in it.

Regardless of whether we may be liable for such infringement under local country law or Canada law, our response to these notices may include removing or disabling access to material claimed to be the subject of infringing activity and/or terminating subscribers.
To send a notice of infringement to us, please provide a written communication that sets forth the items specified below (Please be noted that you may be liable for damages if you materially misrepresent that a product or activity is infringing your copyrights. Accordingly, if you are not sure whether material available online infringes your copyright, we suggest that you first contact an attorney):
- Identify in detail the copyrighted work that you believe has been infringed upon. For example, "The copyrighted work at issue is the text that appears on http://www.aaaaa.com/aaaa_page.html."
- Provide detailed contact information (email address is preferred).
- Provide information, if possible, sufficient to permit Oriprobe to notify the owner/administrator of the webpage that allegedly contains infringing material (email address is preferred).
- Sign the paper.
